Calm shares data with advertising partners who convert contact information into identifiers for cross-platform ad targeting, constituting behavioral advertising sharing under privacy law definitions.

Users retain ownership of their content but grant Calm a broad, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable license to use, modify, and distribute it in connection with operating and marketing the service.

Calm may terminate accounts for violations at its sole discretion without notice, though this is triggered by defined causes such as Terms violations.

Mandatory binding arbitration via JAMS with a class-action waiver, jury waiver, small claims court carveout, and a 30-day written opt-out window; also includes a court venue clause and informal dispute resolution requirement.

Recurring subscriptions auto-renew and require cancellation at least 24 hours before renewal; refunds are not provided for fees already paid.
