Square collects extensive identity, financial, biometric, contacts, and precise location data, including facial scans and biometrics extracted from ID photos for verification purposes.

Square shares personal information with identity verification vendors, credit bureaus, wireless carriers, sanctions watchlists, and affiliates/subprocessors globally, but the DPA states Square will not sell or share personal data as defined under CCPA.

Square requires binding individual arbitration administered by NAM with a class-action and jury waiver, but provides a small claims court carveout, an informal resolution process, and a 30-day opt-out right.

Subscription fees renew monthly until canceled, cancellation is available anytime through account settings, but no refunds are given for fees already charged for the current billing period.
