Temu collects account, purchase, device, location (approximate), usage, and customer support data, including health-related details voluntarily submitted in support tickets, via first-party and third-party sources.

From: PRIVACY POLICYWhen submitting a complaint or request through our customer support functions, you may choose to provide documentation, information, or photographs including health details, medical treatments, tests, reports, medications or other evidence for product-related injuries or health impacts.

Temu shares personal information with advertising, marketing, and analytics partners for interest-based advertising, and explicitly acknowledges this sharing may constitute a 'sale' under applicable state privacy laws.

Users grant Temu a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use submitted content for marketing and advertising purposes, extending well beyond basic service operation.

From: TERMS OF SERVICEFor all User Submissions, you grant us a fully-paid, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide right (including any moral rights) and license to use, license, store, display, reproduce, save, modify... create derivative works, publicly perform, publicly display, distribute, translate, or otherwise act with respect to such User Submissions as we determine is necessary to operate, market, and advertise the Services.

Temu can terminate accounts for any reason at its sole discretion, and any remaining Rewards are destroyed upon termination with no guaranteed refund or appeal process described.

Mandatory binding arbitration with AAA, class-action and jury trial waivers apply, but the terms provide a 30-day opt-out window, a small claims court carveout, and an informal dispute resolution process before arbitration.

Temu is a one-time purchase e-commerce platform with disclosed return windows, refund processing timelines, and fees for second/subsequent return shipments, but no subscription auto-renewal is described.
