Viber shares device identifiers and inferred interest/location data with third-party advertisers and receives inferred profiling data back from them for ad targeting purposes.

For Public Content shared in Communities, Channels, or Chatbots, Viber and business partners obtain an irrevocable, perpetual, commercial license to use the content and any user's name, likeness, and voice without compensation.

From: TERMS OF SERVICEYou grant Viber, our affiliates, other users of the Services, and our business partners, an unrestricted, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and perpetual right and license to create derivative works from, promote, exhibit, broadcast, syndicate, reproduce, distribute, synchronize, overlay graphics and auditory effects on, publicly perform, and publicly display all or any portion of your Public Content in any form and in any and all media or distribution methods, now known or later developed.

Viber may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of terms or business reasons, sometimes without notice, and disclaims liability for data loss upon termination, though an appeals process exists via the AUP.

The terms include mandatory binding arbitration under JAMS rules with a class-action waiver for U.S. residents, but a 30-day opt-out right and small-claims-friendly provisions (claims under $10,000 allow flexible hearing format) are provided; non-U.S. residents use informal dispute resolution and EU ODR mechanisms.

Subscriptions and credits auto-renew and are generally non-refundable except for errors reported within 90 days, with a 14-day cooling-off period that is forfeited once the service is used, consistent with standard disclosed auto-renewal terms.
